Litecoin Cash (LCC) Has Forked But Draws Little Investor Interest

Litecoin cash has officially forked, but investors remain skeptical.

litecoin cash lcc

Litecoin cash has officially forked from the Litecoin blockchain but investors have shown little interest in the new cryptocurrency.

LCC opened at roughly $1.40 and jumped to $9.25 on Feb. 20, but quickly fell to the $4.29 number it currently sits at at the time of this article being published. Litecoin (LTC) also saw a slight bump amid the confusion of what LCC actually is.

Litecoin founder and creator Charlie Lee has been litcoin cash’s most notable critic, accusing the new currency of attempting to benefit off the Litecoin name and market confusion.¬†Litecoin cash developers even went as far to admit that the choice of name is meant to be a publicity lightning rod.

Despite the market confusion and the high lever of publicity, litecoin cash (LCC) appears destined for a similar path to the one bitcoin cash took. However, time will tell if investors eventually show interest in the fork, or if all the hype was for not.
